Kiwi facts

Interesting Facts
  • Depending on the species, the male kiwi does most of the egg incubation, which is usually one clutch of one egg per year from June to December.
  • Kiwi lives in the forest in the bushes
  • Kiwis only sleep during the day
  • Kiwis are only in New Zealand
  • The kiwi is part of a group of birds called ratites.

Private information we do not share online   e.g. home address, birth date, home phone number, full name. If we are not sure we keep it private.

My name is  Niko and I have 3 sisters and 5 brothers.  My favorite hobbies are my brothers  xbox 360 and having fun with my papa.

 WAL: about how plants grow best

This is what I think about how plants grow.
We will be doing some experiments to find out if it is true.

1. How much sunlight do plants need to grow?
It grows  one day.


2. Can plants grow in the shade? Can they grow inside?
Yes it can grow in shade.

3. Can plants grow better by talking to them? Why?
Plants can't  grow by talking.

4. Can plants grow in sand? or rocks? Why?
Plants can grow in sand.

5. How much water do plants need to grow? What type of water?
It needs nice water and it needs water one day.

6. Can you feed plants food? If yes, what type.
Yes  because the  get carbon dioxide and water.

My explanation of how Photosynthesis works: For a plant to grow it needs carbon dioxide and water. The sunlight turns these into sugar which the plant uses to grow.
